It's an MMO.

Which is exactly the problem.

It needs to be "massively multiplayer". If most people don't even try it, it can't have that massive of a population.

No, the problem is that certain things which make the Elder Scrolls so much fun in the first place are poorly suited for multiple players. Things like significant questlines, out-of-the-way dungeons with rare loot, even the Daedric artifacts themselves.

Then there's the bit where PvP is a huge part of the game's story, and I will tell you right now that there has not been a single MMO where PvP has been balanced, meaning a good portion of the game is going to depend on who's overpowered at the time. Fun fun fun.

I thought WoW arena and Guild Wars were balanced enough to still be interesting at least. Very dependent on what patch you were playing nonetheless though.

My problem is more that the way MMOs are set up to be played over the course of months the pacing is absolutely horrendous. And in this case the lack of respect for the established lore has turned me off completely. (playing CTF with the Elder Scrolls, seriously?)

Even with barter and balance proletariats that make prices higher and prevent me from creating single potions worth 5k, I'm now at the point where I make more cheddar than I could ever need. I purposefully had to enchant gear that I want to sell with cheap enchantments because no merchant is able to buy armor worth 7k. And yet I keep crafting and enchanting shit to sell and doing thieves guild sidequests to be able to sell my stuff more effectively to earn more gold that I don't need.

Then there's also the part where I suffer from kleptomania.

I currently have over 100,000 gold in Skyrim. The only reason it's not more is because the merchants ran out of cheddar so I started dropping gems and gold all over my bed instead of selling them.
This is after purchasing every house and every upgrade for them.
I feel kinda bad for my Markarth Housecarl. He's been living in a lavishly furnished yet empty home for over a year by himself without exiting it once.

I just got Morrowind and I have the question everyone who played it knows the answer to: What do I do early in the game to make stamina a non issue? I know there's something involving potions and stacking effects, but I don't remember what.

You're right. I keep trying to think of ways in which a multiplayer Elder Scrolls game could work, like having a system more akin to Destiny or Dark Souls, but my ideas always come back to "but the game should also be balanced around being able to play solo if you want."

I don't know the actual answer to this since I usually ran mages but it probably revolves around the trick of stacking weakness to magic on your self. It's probably something like "make a couple short duration high intensity weakness to magic on self", cast them to stack and then drink or cast stamina restore over time.

Another thing that helps is having constant stamina restore effect of course.

Stamina was hands-down the most annoying part of Morrowind with how it affected everything from spellcasting to lockpicking to accuracy.

I crafted and enchanted the best armor available to me in Skyrim. Now it's time to finish the base game and move on to the DLC.

Now I can't remember how this worked on my first playthrough, but should all Stormcloak city guards be hostile during Reunification of Skyrim? Because entering Riften to progress in the quest was a bit challenging when I couldn't let a single guard see me.

You probably got a bounty in Riften for something.
I killed a Thalmor prison progression to free the prisoner and wondered for 10 minutes why everyone in Riverwood attacked me.
Got me a full set of Elven armor very early on at least.

I just really hate the Thalmor.

Nah, I had no bounty on me, and it wasn't just guards in Riften, but every Stormcloak guard.

Does anybody here play oblivion? If so which fortify enchantment should I focus on? Intelligence or Magicka?
I keep running out of magicka points and since it only lets you chug four potions at a time I wanted to look into enchanting stuff.

I'd go with Intelligence, myself.

Reinstalled Skyrim and I'm adding all of the proletariats

I am so disappointed that no one has made Moonshadow. Step it up mod people, I want to be a full Azura cultist.

Unfortunately Moonshadow cannot be accessed from Nirn, so chances are there's not going to be a mod since the same people who would make it are huge lore buffs.

There's Nocturnal's realm though for a substitute.

Where does it say Mortals can't enter? (I'm not doubting you, I've just never heard that before)

In one of the wiki articles I read up on, it said the realm was so beautiful it renders mortal's partially blind so it implied they could visit
