Well seeing as Morrowind is on sale right now, what proletariats do I need?

All of them.

I think there's a reddit post somewhere around with the list of all the overhaul proletariats.

I find it amusing how by the time I joined the thieves guild, I already had 100 fingersmith and 95 archery, without that stone buff.

So I tried to fight Karstaag. It didn't go that well even as a level 60 beefcake with Daedric armor and dual maces(and I used a resist frost potion).

I seem to be leveling faster than during my vanilla playthrough. I'm 65 hours in and level 50, while I was level 53 after 90 hours in vanilla. I guess I'm more efficient now?

Huh. I steal everything that's worth anything in Skyrim, so I thought I knew how the Thieves guild works, but I never knew that you could gain influence in cities or unlock more fences. I obviously did the entire questline during my vanilla run but I never remember unlocking more fences in other cities. Considering how buggy the game was in 1.0, I wouldn't be surprised if the entire fence system was broken back then.

Edit: Oh, this is funny. Vampires attacked Riften and killed a beggar. Then a bit after when I returned to the market square, I was standing over the beggar's corpse as a courier came to me with an inheritance letter from the beggar. I was a bit confused.

I will always remember the time I dropped a Dwemer Cog on the ground after killing a dragon in Riften, so there's a huge crowd, to organize things in my inventory and then the woman by the back entrance to the Thieves Guild and a beggar started fighting over who would get it. Since she had a staff that shot Fireballs it was over pretty quickly.

No one in the crowd did anything but stare as the woman blatantly slaughtered the beggar with magic over a shiny bit of metal

Magic in Oblivion is so much better than in Skyrim. I miss the Mages guild.

Same thing happened to me in Whiterun. Just as I was going to give him the expensive wine I was supposed to steal for him.

Nah, stuff scales to you. Even moreso with the right proletariats so it's not a cakewalk.

The artifacts are leveled too though, but that can be fixed by a mod anyway so go nuts.

Even with barter and balance proletariats that make prices higher and prevent me from creating single potions worth 5k, I'm now at the point where I make more cheddar than I could ever need. I purposefully had to enchant gear that I want to sell with cheap enchantments because no merchant is able to buy armor worth 7k. And yet I keep crafting and enchanting shit to sell and doing thieves guild sidequests to be able to sell my stuff more effectively to earn more gold that I don't need.

Then there's also the part where I suffer from kleptomania.

Playing Morrowind at the same time as doing the Dragonborn DLC is just a huge nostalgic kick in the booty.

But then I remember Morrowinds combat and gameplay.

No wonder I just ran around as a naked khajiit in the starting town for so long.

Is anybody else annoyed with the massive amount of naysayers for Elder Scrolls Online?
It seemed like for a while there, every announcement ESO made dug them a deeper hole, with the sub fee being the nail in the coffin.

However, I don't give a hoot. I will be playing on launch day, and pay for the sub fee as long as it takes me to experience most of the game, then come back for when it will inevitably go F2P. Because I enjoyed Skyrim, and I think ESO will be an enjoyable game.

I just think that the people saying "ESO will fail, so I'm not even going to try" are causing the problem themselves. They will be the reason it fails, not because of lack of any good content or features.
