Just wait, I'll be holding back on it and suddenly they'll release a Lite version anyway. Or at least a revised model that doesn't have that stupid design flaw.

Still gonna wait a year or so. I don't have any need to buy one since I'm not planning on getting any new titles.

I would not DOUBT this, but knowing how Nintendo is treating the screen problem right now, they might use it as a replacement system for people who send in their console.

Not really. If Nintendo is unsure how well they'll sell they can use this as a testing ground. I'm certain Nintendo is probably going to release them eventually. However, if they don't, it makes sense that they'd be exclusively giving them to the people who bought the system early despite all the gloom and doom and the "lack of quality titles" (or to people who would buy the consoles ASAP to ensure they got the games). It's giving something back to the fans that support the system, even when sales were bad. I don't see anyone upset that Nintendo gives away prizes to people who fill out surveys over their games on their site... :/

Also, how is rewarding fans in the hopes that they won't be jaded by the problems with the system "dumb as fuck"?
