I'm still kinda annoyed that Corn's moveset spoils some of the plot in the game for the westerners. Especially since we're so close to launch. Makes sense for the Japanese fans, but it's kinda annoying for people who haven't had a chance to know the character themselves.

Just got to try out Bayo and Corn in a casual-ish fight.

Bayo's gonna take some time getting used to, just because her recovery makes you recover then double jump, which defies everything I've learned about Smash up to now.
Also Bayo's dair can apparently spike Corn and kill him at a pretty low percentage from what I've seen. Either way, we'll all need some time to find out Bayo's true potential, while Corn is slightly more straight forward.

Corn's counter is fucking broken

According to comments on that video, Shulk's Vision does the same to Little Mac.

I basically divide 3 tiers of recovery for her:
-If you can SideSpe toward the stage, her recovery is fantastic (for distance, not for dealing with edge guarding)
-If you can't, but keep cool, it's a decent recovery (UpSpe→jump→UpSpe, but also wall clinging if possible)
-If you panic, it's poopy ((2nd) jump→UpSpe, which I don't need to comment on)

I really have to test out what counters can OHKO at the center of stages from a strong-booty little mac punch/ganon punch.

But seriously, 3% and Little Mac goes flying from a counter? What the fuck.

I think what makes Corn's counter so powerful is the fact that it launches straight up, and the top blast zone is a lot closer than the side blast zones

anyway outside of that incredibly corny series of events

bayonetta can forward air, stop before the third hit, and then forward air again, forever. this is disgustingly easy to pull off, and can just KO from basically any percent.

which makes it even weirder that everyone just spams her forward smash like come on guys
