World's fucked.

Half of Dude's stuff is gone. Regenerated all terrain from his railtrack out towards the wilderness. away from town. Half of his windmill stands, the rest of his town is gone. His beacon redstone is open to the sea.

The entirety of Nara's base is gone. An ocean and an extreme hills are in its place. This includes the stronghold and the various mob farms out in that direction.

I didn't even bother to check out the other side of town.

Not sure if it just had a bad upload and reuploading the world would fix it, or if the world files are just corrupted?


I'm game for a fresh start, provided it isn't an extreme hills savanna island 20 blocks across and 200 blocks high.

Your tower was out past Dude's base. It is COMPLETELY gone. Completely.

If you were not in the town or very, very near (like Dude) your stuff is gone.

If you can't connect, try changing out your DNS to either 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4. If you don't know how to do this, there are multiple guides on Google. Most likely it's a DNS propagation issue.

My DNS are already those I don't know shit about shit about setting shit like this up

Highly unlikely as this is entirely separate technology. It honestly sounds like someone borked the settings for the domain name.

I'm not sure what is going on, but I am able to connect fine, and the world I am on looks completely fine.

Try connecting to 158.85.102.106:26805 instead.

Well, I still have the world on my own computer and it is fine, I guess it fucked up while I was uploading it. Sorry about that, but I guess I will need to try again.

Either that or we start from scratch on this server host and I keep paying for it.

I vote Noff tries reuploading again, but I don't have high hopes. The world is massive thanks to the absurd lengths we went to to find jungles and sea monuments. (25k in one direction, 15k another, 20k another, etc.), so it's most likely going to fail somewhere else the second time around.

I would be okay with a fresh world, one with less ridiculous challenges for goddamn cocoa beans, but I can see that several people (myself included ;-;) put a lot of time into this world and might not be on board for just tossing it.

So I vote one reupload, then if it fails, fresh world. It takes seriously like 6+ hours to upload.

As fucking awesome as World Corruption sounds, i'm up for a reset.

I'm going to try and reupload the world tonight, and if it turns out fine, then we will keep the world.

If it keeps becoming corrupt, I will have to start fresh.

Either way, I was thinking of paying for like 6 months of server time so that way I don't have to worry about it month to month.

Before I do that though, I want to know if everyone can connect and if there is any lag issues, I wouldn't want to pay for 6 months and have people lag and unable to connect.
