When I said I liked Epona, I meant the one from OoT (and maybe MM too but I was sad I couldn't use her as much as I'd liked to) - the badass mare who could jump high walls and cliffs. (in fact, because of this, I actually didn't want to fix the bridge just so I could keep doing this but oh well). And she's got a great melody too.

Not the TP one which you can name and thus not Epona in my eyes, plus it pretty much was useless till late in the game. And it can't even jump walls or cliffs. AND you can't even regularly call it that easily.

Besides, I like horses.

And oh god, I didn't know it was the anniversary today. Man, I wish I had brought a couple of Zelda games with me to play :c

I feel such intense pride in saying i have EVERY legend of Zelda game to date. ^w^
My favorite two though are Oracle of Ages and Seasons. Just beat those two again. I remember calling the first boss in Ages "Mr. Pumpkinhead" when I was 9. XD

So how different are Ages and Seasons?
Should I start Seasons if/when I beat Ages?

Is it sad that the game that started me in LoZ was Wind Waker?

I mean, sure, I've played Link's Awakening before as a little tyke, but I couldnt clear it until after I finished Wind Waker.

Mind you, after that I have played all the LoZ games and my computer cries when I open the folder containing the ENTIRE soundtracks of the games (including those remixes from ZREO)

I'm gonna crank Wind Waker again in celebration for this 25th anniversary.

TODAY WE PARTY IN HYRULE

Wind Waker was my first Zelda game too. It was the first one I owned and completed.

The first Zelda game I ever saw though, was the first two on the NES (I count both because I don't remember which one I saw first). Since I was only three/four years old at the time, I didn't play them then. But I loved looking at the box art though; I thought they were so pretty. (hell, I still do)

Nope, Ages is pretty darned sick. I love the puzzles it offers. I spent a week in Jabus stomach trying to figure out the floor plan once, last week I burned it in a half hour :P Plus I like how at the end
Veran actually tries to possess me. I am not her boy toy.

The game that helped me discover the franchise was Minish Cap. I had almost no knowledge of the series before then because my parents hated video games. They still do.

But Twilight Princess started my whole LoZ craze.

You can blame Twilight Princess for my Zelda avatars and references. XD
