The Kickstarter funds will now go solely to stretch goals, apparently. They don't even have the decency to cancel the Kickstarter, they just want more cheddar.

Unless I'm wrong, you don't get any cheddar from kickstarter unless it's successfully funded.

Yeah, that is the case. They just expect to meet the goal and then some.
Which they probably won't.

About 310k in only 4 days doesn't seem likely. Especially since Fuze already swept in to cover the costs of the game. So I'm banking on all the Kickstarter supporters getting a raw deal, kind of.

??? You know about the whole Hogan shenanigan, right? If only they could go back and splice in the Terminator into all of his old matches. Arnie body slamming Andre at Wrestlemania III, a metal endoskeleton straight up robbing Bret of the belt at Wrestlemania IX, Halloween Havoc '95 with a Terminator monster tuck fight?! yes please.

Mighty Blunder 9 has been quietly delayed to 2016. A revised release date has yet to be announced.

If you got fired and your cash cow was kept by your old employer who want to rub its face in the dirt, you'd be mad too.
Speaking of creators making totally-not-knockoffs-of-this-thing-I-was-famous-for-under-this-comapny, how does that Symphony of the Night knockoff look? I don't remember its name to look it up or gauge its worth.

It's called Bloodstained and it's currently sitting on $5.5 million after a set goal of $500 thousand

it also actually looks pretty good, compared to MN9, which looked mediocre the second we saw anything from it

Inafune quit on his own. He wasn't fired.

Red Ash Kickstarter fails, falling just under $300,000 short of its goal.
The game is now left with only the barebones funding received from FUZE. It's still happening, but without very much content.

The only significant announcement at Microsoft's Gamescom press conference:
Rash of the Battletoads is now available in the new Killer Instinct. Currently going through a testing period, though, so you have to have bought some KI content or currently own the Rare Replay collection. Everyone else gets him September 8th.
