Can't access the eShop right now due to servers being unable to handle it.

Really hoping the characters and stages come in a cheaper bundle, rather than having to buy it all seperately.

EDIT: Well, there's a bundle, but it includes the Mii costumes, which racks it up to above 20 bucks and almost 30 if you want it on both systems. Urgh, gonna have to think about which characters I really want now. (As well as if I want Dream Land or not.)

Any ways, that comparison pic. Wii Fit Trainer as Zangief is glorious.
Zelda would've been better than Peach as Chun Li since Zelda actually has a move almost like the pose portrayed.

Thoughts on fighters so far...

Lucas: This kids airgame is freaking insane, his INSANELY long grab can be used as both a long-distance safety tool and a great ledge grabber to replace PK Thunder. Speaking of that ability, it can be great for enemies in the air as it basically runs through them and builds up damage, but you're really, really open for any punishes while using it. Lucas' PK fire also stays vertical even in the air unlike Ness. His upsmash is also incredibly slow but christ can it launch people like its nobodies business. Overall fun.

Ryu: Slow. as. HELL. I don't like Ryu at all, as I feel like he takes away from Smash's simple 2-button attack system that helped it sell compared to other fighters, yeah, you can still use buttons, but why would I do that when I have stronger variants of attacks that deal oh so much more damage? I'd rather not play him compared to Ganondorf.

Roy: People are right when they say he's a mix of Marth and Ike, he's slower than marth, but he can pull out lightning quick attacks, his special is basically Ike's special with a different hitbox(it's a swing.), and his side special is similar to Marths. Overall, he's really darn fun to use.

Just got Roy and Ryu. Ryu's going to take some getting used to, but Roy is already so much fun. I could never get used to playing Marth or even Lucina, but playing as Roy feels natural for some reason. Oh, and the Street Fighter stage is gorgeous.

Is Roy still a fast faller? I hated that part in Melee and how his airgame sucked major butt.
Also, Eliwood alt and Zephiel alt won me over for now, Roy. But I still hate you in your own game.

Having some trouble inputting the Shakunetsu Hadoken, as I can't seem to do the half circle properly. The other inputs went easier than I thought, though.

Also already loving Roy. Can't wait to use both of them in online fights.

Question for y'all who got the characters for both versions - are they just added to your Nintendo account or did you get codes? My friend wants to buy them for his DS and his little brother's Wii U, but they're not under the same Nintendo Network ID.
