Beat Garrosh two weekends ago with my 10-man raid. Was so much fun. We had a friend DK subbing in for us and he ended up pulling
67th highest DPS for DKs on 10-man normal Garrosh (we had to go through so many attempts because of DPS lack on some of our members, oof). We tried doing heroic Norushen last weekend but wiped a bunch because everyone was messing up at one point or another, even though it's the easiest heroic fight of SoO. Hopefully we'll be able to pull it together for this weekend; we're gonna try more Heroic versions. :D
I will admit, I'm pretty p.o.'d with how WoW does progression raiding. I don't like the emphasis being placed in higher DPS vs. most other MMOs I've played where it's about greater healing and support and focusing on mechanics instead of beating a berserk timer. That statement is a gross generalization, and I know counter-arguments can be made, but I'm mostly mad because I can't heal anymore and have to go Balance druid because we don't need a third healer and our paladin is a dumbho and won't even try going for a DPS spec. (Basically: original statement is horribly biased.) I like balance, but at the same time I don't. I have my T16 2-set and my legendary cape so my numbers aren't as shit as they were, but I still feel like I'm not understanding something, or I'm messing something up on my rotation. I feel like my numbers should be higher.
Ugh I miss healing. Druid healing is so much fun. Reminds me a lot of playing my warden soul cleric back in Rift. :c
