AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I never did quests when I played; partly because Runescape's questing system is convoluted and not as streamlined as WoW. I spent all my Runescape time leveling my crafting and professions and shit. Was fun, but got boring easily.

I remember playing this game, Running got annoying, game was laggy, and if you wanted good armor you had to grind in the arena for hours apon hours. The ONLY good side to this game to me was how funny the quests ended up being

the grinding is fun to me, and the best part... MINIGAMES! i love playing games like fist of guthix and (when my membership is up) Castle Wars (fucking love that game). Also, they fixed (i use the term loosely) the quests, although its still not like WoW...

I used to be into it hardcore, but after a while the only reason I went back was for holiday events.

Now it is something most pitiful.

I remember Runescape being my first MMO.

The Wilderness is still a word of nightmare for me.

It's too old and too grindy. I sometimes try it but all the different combat styles and everything new all boil down to the same mushy clickfest garbage. That aside, I have had some really good times with this game, and it's a fun nostalgia trip checking it out again, but every time I try to go back, I can't help but think that I'm a little too old for it.

Yeah, it's really more "babby's first MMO" than something to get into for a long time.

My first MMO was tibia, ah the good old days of being chased down by 40+ people with every log

My first MMO was Everquest, actually. I didn't play Runescape 'til middle school when I had friends who played it.

Yeah I remember Runescape being my first mmo, and I got hooked hard, with my older brother, we played a lot, he was in the top mining for some time, mind you this was back in classic, when the graphics where 2d, GOOD TIMES.

Then 3d came along, and after that it kind of felt like it got a bit marketed towards kids, so I quit.

But after seeing this combat beta, I gotta admit, I'm impressed, the graphics are pretty amazing, and they added a hotbar, something that plagued this game for awhile, being nothing but clicking.

I think once the beta is released, I could get back into this, Nim64 is my character if you wanna check it out.
