I can't really look at it with minecraft.net down.

How the hell did you get a skill to 150 already?

Or are you talking about powerlevel, which isn't the same thing.

if you used another material for the road, you can place torches under the road to keep it from getting lost in the snow

Actually, you can place torches under gravel without the gravel de-spawning. This is done at generation time, so no gravel will fall if it is in the air or above a torch.

Problem with downward slopes is that water spawns inside them, if I did a downward slope border, it would make a lake. Which is what I did for jungles, I made them into a large island.

I could make it so that the slope has no water, but it would effect a lot of things.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say, do you want it so that the snow is on a higher level than the dirt border?

I think Ame's saying the snow should just be a gradual thing. Like, larger at the center and just tapering off to dirt. So, decorative snow could be placed making the snow seem higher placed than the dirt.

If this isn't what you were thinking about, Ame, IGNORE ME!

Not really. My power died and the world became corrupt, I had to use a backup world, which was a week old.

Sorry, I can give you creative mode for a bit if you want to fix it up.

Well, I've been using bedrock, as it reminds the me most of broken up blacktop. As for the snow, I just leave the pieces i want higher than the road alone, so that top layer of snow is intact giving about an inch rise from the "roadblock". And have just been scattering it in no particular pattern. But I'm open to any and all changes, since this is my first biome/super-construct.

Well, I guess I'll just mess with it more and see what happens.

I need ideas on what to do with the swamp biome, or do we even want it? I never really liked it myself personally.

Also anyone have any ideas on custom biomes? I liked how the obby islands worked out, I would like more ideas like that.

Also about the forest valleys, I was wondering if I should keep them the way they are now, or make it so they are a giant crater with a forest in them.

I made a cool little thing in the swamp biome but it probably got wiped with the server thing. Also made a treehouse and my friend made a tiny lil airship, but they probably both got wiped.
