I forget the guy's name who works on weapons and shit but yeah. When he can sit down with a weapon (as seen by the hellfire missiles and the EOC repeater), he can make some neat booty shit.

Edit: Oh man. Bruiser is back with the vulcan. Time to take out the trash.
>vulcan massively nerfed
>Generates enough heat to overheat the mech without even taking the enemy down to 2/3 hp
fuck is this. Just look.

Quote:
SMC:
Damage per shot:10
Shots/Second:8.7
DPS:87
Heat efficiency:7.4, ~13.5 seconds to overheat (assuming 100 heat is shutdown)
Total damage:1174.5

AR:
Damage per shot:16
Shots/Second:4.7
DPS:75.2
Heat efficiency:8.5 ~11.76 seconds to shutdown
Total Damage:884.35

Vulcan:
Damage per shot:12
Shots/Second:8.3
DPS:99.6
Heat efficiency:16.7 ~6 seconds to shutdown
Total damage:597.6

Also, the RevGL and seeker are such spammy weapons. I can see the heat generation going up on those a bit.

Not going to disagree with you, but the RevGL is pretty daisies hard to aim and it is definitely not without heat generation

It's not about aiming. It's about bombarding a chokepoint without end. I think uptown was the map I was on. I was able to spam the Rev around a corner, constantly hitting someone. After about 30 seconds of that, I dashed around the corner and killed 3 people with a few with rev shots, a grenade launcher shot and a regular grenade. It was kinda fucked.

Oh look. Balances.

Overall this should feel a lot closer to the Closed Beta 2 Sabot, and much more consistent of a weapon:
Increased Unzoomed Accuracy
Decreased Zoom Distance
Increased Rate of Fire

Point D Vulcan;
Reduced Heat Generation

Edit: Okay. Getting really sick of scouts. The front loaded burst on those things is god daisies outrageous. That paired with the insane DPS on the mini flak is something to fear.

It's official

the grenadier is still the bestest ever

although I really need to try the vanguard

I wonder how they're going to eventually change its turret mode

If it gets a unique turret mode, people will complain pay-2-win more so than they are now.

Also, how does the new Rev handle?

Still pretty hard to aim but good for close quarters

Activate hardmode: enemy is flying

B-but that was hardmode before.

So I've come to despise the SA Hawkins even more now that I have to use it on my sharpshooter until level 7.

EDIT: So I think I have the best sharpshooter name.

Double post but idgaf.

Upcoming weapons hinted by in-game files.

EDIT: And they were removed. There were some weapons that were just letters, but some notable ones were repair torch, tri-seeker and portal gun.

So this is a thing that still exists.

There was a huge patch recently that basically revamped everything that isn't the core gameplay. New internals (some of which are basically required), new item system, new leveling system because vertical progression is fun, new tuning system that goes hand in hand with the new leveling, and a bunch of other things. It's also grindy as fuck now, so if you didn't play a lot before this patch, I feel so sorry for you.
