I'm wondering if they'll ever do a game in the later periods of Imperialist China.

I kinda want one where you play only Desmond in the near future or whatever time he is in.

Revolutionary america would also be very bad for the Free-Running aspect of the series.

Yeah, the setting needs to have big sprawling cities with impressive architectures.

Philadelphia had quite the layout during the war, but I guess nothing as big as Giotto's Campanile.

Anyway, this third installment is confirmed as not being entirely about Desmond. The developers said they're going to continue the trend of one new character and setting per game. They also said that they envisioned the story as a trilogy, so here's hoping for endless expansions and sequels with different historical settings.

Because I know EVERYONE wants to play a fucking ninja in Japan. The only question is, what time period?

I was always under the impression AssCreed 3 was going to center entirely around Desmond.
