All the villagers dress up as this Jack guy and ask you for candy.

If you find the real jack and give him candy, he gives you halloween furniture.

You can also get "tricked" which turns hats into pumpkins, clothes into raggy halloween clothes, and furniture into jack in the boxes.

Don't carry anything too valuable/can't be replaced with you as it might get turned into a jack in the box. And attach your candy to letters in order to save it for the real Jack.
