You people certainly know your Pokemon. Now I wish I brought my DS to college so I could duel some of you guys or something.

Meowth's party...just out of curiosity, in that demo did he speak like words, or was it a different Meowth.

It was a small cutscene showed off before the Gamecube was released. It was originally voiced with the Japanese voice-actor for Meowth in the anime but was dubbed to the American voice-actor cause we're cool like that.

Is Team Rocket still around in the anime? I can rarely find new episodes on the tv anymore. Or has the other teams finally taken their place?

Dude, he's married and has a family now. Brock is still a close friend, and has finally hooked up with a Nurse Joy. Misty is Ash's wife, and their two kids are training to be Champion as we speak. Gary hooked up with Tracey (completely unexpected) and have two adoptive kids of their own. Pikachu is in his autumn years, and both of Ash's kids have his kids on their team. Best anime ever.
