The plot holes only exist if you look too deeply into the story. Video games aren't for story, BOOKS are for story.

Robots are cool, and Mega Man X smells like BREAST MILK because breasts and milk are both awesome.

Well there is a line. Saying that games are more fun when they require more skill is fine. Saying that you shouldn't judge a story if it's in a videogame is crossing that line.

See, story is important to me in video games, too. But only because someone doesn't care about it at all, that doesn't mean I won't take them seriously.
Especially if it's about the story in a Mega Man game.
It's a franchise that focuses on gameplay as opposed to storytelling. There's nothing wrong with that, and criticizing franchises like this one for plot holes seems a bit desperate to me.
Not taking RNF seriously because he doesn't care about the story is like not taking me seriously because I don't care about multiplayer. Those are aspects of games that are very important to a lot of people, but some might just not care about them.
Really, if you're looking for reasons for not taking RNF seriously, I'm sure there's some far better ones than this. Like him saying that he comes here to troll, for example.
