Magnus' stupid dash attack made getting through the actual level a real pain in the booty.

Just wait until you get to Hades' heart

I beat Kid Icarus Uprising last summer and I can confirm Hades' Heart is the worst boss in any game
But Magnus' dash attack is what got me thru the level

Note I said depending on the difficulty. That's because Pit's Bodyis effectively a Light VS Dark opponent.
The most important point to stress is that Magnus's swordis the same on every difficulty level, which is fine for 2.0 or even 7.0 runs, but it combines with the increased health of enemies and you can't use powers.

Combine this with the powerful charge shots it has on 9.0 and you have an obscenely tough boss.

Really? Well, that explains why on higher intensities it takes GOD daisies FOREVER TO KILL ANYTHING

Fighting Pelagia in Shadow of the Colossus is the one time I stopped having fun with the game, but mostly just because I tried to beat him the hard way.

Shadow of the Colossus is that game where you get a sword and then go hit a boss in the leg until they fall down and die, right?

Umm

No. There's like one boss you hit in the leg to injure it. Maybe two.

Normally you stab them in the head because its the most metal thing conceivable.

I'm sorry I don't think you know what the word "metal" means in this context, because there is not very much of SotC that is metal. It's pretty orchestral.

unless you just worded it weird and you're talking about the literal existence of a metal in the sword in which case yeah sure i guess that is technically pretty metal

I just think its funny that you stab giant monsters in the head. Like i know what SotC is but out of context just the idea of climbing a giant beast and poking it with a metal sliver until it dies is pretty extreme.

I guess "epic" would be a better term but metal is a funny word to me.

The 9th one, the turtle that requires the geysers, is the only one that I absolutely hate doing.

I actually got him to cooperate with me when I fought him. Also now that I've beaten SotC, the final boss is officially the worst. I can't count how many times I've fallen off of that stupid thing.

Good god Lavos's final form is obnoxious
I beat him with Crono and Lucca dead and Frog almost dead, and that's only because I used Megalixers and got wicked lucky. I know you can go fight him at the very beginning in New Game+ because I accidentally did with Lucca and Marle in my party and I still lost horribly. How overpowered does Crono have to be to beat him alone?
