It seems like a lot of people who played Chrono Trigger and then Cross seem to find the latter an insult of a sequel, but as someone who's only played Cross, I quite loved it

I bought Chrono Cross one year ago on the ps1. I should try beating the game one of these days.

What's so bad about it.

Chrono Cross was good. Its story was pretty interesting and I really need to pick it up again at some point. I'd just prefer if they had like.... 30 or so fewer characters since not everyone got any real development aside from Kid. Game had some fantastic music though.

The Witcher 3; Wild Hunt is scheduled for a 2014 release for PC and "available high-end platforms."

I'm not sure, but curious, which is why I brought it up

Not many besides the main few characters got real depth in their development, but they all had their own background and personality which was enough for me
and the OST is quite easily one of my favorites of anything, it's absolutely gorgeous

the combat could have been better

I remember that they added in stuff about how the reptites were servants to the dragons and there was a future/past war between technology driven humans and dragon supported reptites. it sounded so freaking dumb...

Also, Guile was supposed to secretly be Magus, but they scrapped that idea before release.

And yeah the 30 billion playable characters thing was stupid since there were only like 6 you needed.

Plus Lucca's house... Q^Q

Chrono Cross was OKAY as a game but terrible as a sequel to Trigger.

Actually, Guile was Magus in Radical Dreamers, the OTHER dumb sequel to Chrono Trigger. It was an adventure game, from what I can remember.

Where there are JRPGs that want pointless activities done for full completion, there will be cheesing.

Currently letting my party of four in Vesperia on full Auto beat up Brutal and his constantly spawning minions so they can get their Fatal Strike titles. Then it's idly pushing a thumbstick for hours on end to get the Points Unknown achievement which is complete bullshit.

Skyrim: Dragonborn came out today. I can't wait to try it and see a bit of Morrowind again.

So in CT do your unused party members automatically scale at some point?
Because everybody is suddenly level 50.

I think they gain a fraction of the xp your team gets like in most RPGs with more characters than fit in the team.

It's like 75% of the EXP or something. It's a lot. However, they don't get any Tech Points unless they're actually in your party.

Alright sweet, time to do the black omen.
I've done every other side quest in the game I think.
Including "Mountain Mountain Mountain and more Mountain #999: The Mountaining"

If you've gotten everyone's ultimate weapons, then you've done them all, save one, I think. Two if you count Black Omen.
