Keep seeing a lot of Zelda II mentions. It isn't one of the hardest in terms of brain power unlike some of Link's Awakening's puzzles. Still, it is my favorite game in the whole franchise. It feels much more action-oriented than the other games and I love the stats system.

Any Double Dragon Game.

Oh, and just about any non-genesis era Sonic game, besides Rush 1.
Not at all hard to beat, but a bitch in the fact that they're so lame and unsufferable. Shadow deters me from playing, it's the ultimate hard mode.

Getting everything beaten in Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion can be a bitch, and Ninja Gaiden took forever for me to beat.

I wasn't alive for those uber-hard SNES and NES games. Sue me.

"Turok - Evolution" was a bitch to beat - not because it was hard, just because it was badly programmed/put together:

The levels were very lush and pretty - but you couldn't stray from a very limited path - freedom was so limited it may as well have been an "on rails" game.

Collision detection was bad (flying levels).

You had no guarantee of keeping weapons from previous levels (I just collected all the pieces of "the Nuke" on the last level - so why isn't it in my arsenal anymore?).

Sometimes doors would open but you couldn't_walk_through_them.

Yes - this game was a trial to complete - but complete it I did, and t'was a right royal waste of time.

Acclaim should be ashamed of themselves - "Turok - Dinosaur Hunter" on the N64 was one of the best games ever, but the Turok games slowly slipped in quality until this turd of a game well and truly blocked the toilet.

I love this game, though I can;t beat it without cheating. The daisies slegs see and kill me before I find them, then there's the raptors that come out of no where and jump you in mass groups. The only reason I still have it is the sheer amount of blood, multiplayer, and the fact that I can make those sleg things puke when they have no head/body. How that still amuses me I have no clue.

Right now I'm still trying to beat FE7. I haven't lost a single person, and I'm trying to keep it that way. I'm stuck on chapter 27, and Hector, Rath, and Sain keep dying on me. Pant, Erk and Wallace have so far been the most useful. I just suck at tactical rpgs I guess.
