Well, Pass + Galeforce sounds like it could be a nice combo, but it would also be nice to have a Dark Flier who can open chests and doors. I dunno; I've got plenty of time to think about it, since I'm completing most of the chapters before I move on to the paralogues.

So I'm playing Chapter 12 of FE7 last night and I'm doing well and Lowen is tanking all the fighters on the right side and I've whittled the enemy down to two men (a Merc and the boss) and suddenly I have the greatest idea ever.
I'll have Rebecca stand on the fort in front of the Merc! But wait, she'll get a sword to the face! No problem, I'll just have Lowen (who's on 12 hp by now) stab him in the face with his lance!
And it would have worked if he hadn't missed. With a 71 percent chance.
And even if he had succeeded in murdering that guy, the boss would have (and indeed did) hit Lowen in the face with an axe, killing him dead.
The moral of the story is: don't trust me with your units; I'll get them all killed in stupid ways.

Fire Emblem Drinking Game:
Take a shot when:
- One of your units misses when they have ≥60% chance of hitting
- One of your opponent's units hits when they have ≤40% chance of hitting.

You forgot the part about finishing your drink if you crit with a >10% chance.

And also the warning to have a non-drinking friend nearby to take you to the hospital for quick alcohol poisoning treatment.

If you play that with one of the pre-True Hit games, you're going to die of liver failure.

No, take two shots if you crit with a ≤10% chance, finish your drink if your opponent crits or gets an ability activation with a ≤10% chance.

We need to seriously work on this and make a legit Fire Emblem drinking game. I like making drinking games, even though I don't drink.

If my Gilliam performs as he has in the past, I will be fit-shaced before the end of a chapter.
That is, if I drank. Which I don't.

Oh god, I would've died the other night. >.> I kept getting down to one or two enemies and some axe wielder would run up a crit Chrom or Robin.

I would totally play this if I were of legal drinking age.

You know, I wish Awakening still had constitution. It was a really cool mechanic once you knew how it worked, but I guess they simplified the game to get more people playing.

My brother was playing FE7 I think and missed with a 99% chance to hit, and then lost the unit that failed to hit.

To this day he never takes any big risks no matter the odds.

I usually spend about 20 minutes each turn calculating how much damage I could take and making sure nobody would die. I'd even calculate critical hit chances, an made the assumption that everyone would hit. I knew what all the stats did, and would go based on that. Lon Qu in Awakening felt super fragile to me, but Joshua in Sacred Stones seemed amazingly good. I have a mixed history with Myrmidons.

I started a new awakening file on hard mode and so far I haven't had too much trouble other than my usual problem which is trying to keep Sumia alive. Lon'qu seems to be phoning it in as well which is proving very frustrating.
