TerraFirmaCraft updated and is now 1.6.2 compatible.

The difficulty has increased a bit (a lot)

The first days are a bit rough, but after you start entering copper/bronze age it gets easier than it was in b76 (case in point: http://i.imgur.com/vT8I1IP.png I'm at my first autumn and this is more bronze than I ever made in a year and a half of the old version). At least until you enter the iron age and need ungodly amounts of charcoal for the bloomery (16+ pieces for two ingots of iron) I guess, and getting fire clay is probably even harder

I've been working on this a bit, thoughts?

Just a warning, I got no clue where the hell that puff of smoke came from.

I was thinking of changing the color for the wood and just use this as the Jungle tree with a few modifications.

So yeah.

That's pretty awesome, watched the first half an hour or so of the video and then went on the server. The Scarlet Devil Mansion is amazing.

Bringing this thread back because I got bit by the minecraft bug again a week ago.

I decided to give myself a really big project--an underwater city.

Image

So far it has a central 'plaza' with nothing in it but a sight-seeing deck near the top of the cone, a throne room, one water ladder entryway, a nether portal, and a minecart station that goes to the shack above the water. Also it has a slime pest problem.

I'm daisies proud of my minecart station, it has cart recall buttons at each end of the two tracks.

(Also I'm regretting building this on a multiplayer server because I don't want it to be deleted if the server goes down, bawwww)

I'm planning to add some residential bits, too, and maybe a marketplace, but I can't decide on what else to do or how to go about building the homes or the market. What else should I add?

Sign me up, Noff. It'd be fun to hang with you and Angelic again.

We really ought to get back into FTB or whatever those were fun times.
