I found my first Slime today. c:

...Although I was feeling kinda edgy when it popped up so when I turned around to see it bouncing towards me my first thought was "HOLY SHIT DECAPITATED CREEPER HEAD" and I promptly smacked it in the face with my pick. :<

I have yet to see a slime in all my travels. I feel incomplete somehow.

EDIT: I did, however, figure out that the old method of applying textures still works for Macs, at least, so that's good. I'm gonna download Skylands soon. I am excite.

DOUBLE EDIT: Scratch that, Skylands doesn't seem to like my computer much. >_>

Just bought the game about a week ago

On day 3, I found a mine that goes to the very bottom, down all the way to the bedrock. Tons of Obsidian and Redstone.

Also I downloaded a skin to make my guy look like Captain Falcon

I finally got around to getting my own account rather than mooching off my brother's. Now I am running around as Woodman from the second Megaman game as I feel it is appropriate. :D

and also because I couldn't find any Snakeman/Flashman/Quickman skins

...I just realized my base looks like a castle and a greenhouse collided and merged together to create some sort of greeastlehouse

I am too much of a wuss to go to the nether myself so I ended up watching a video of someone else going there.

Oh god the Ghasts D':

My thoughts, in quick succession:

Aww, they're kinda cute.
They sound like demonic babies or something.
Alright, now they're getting a bit annoy-
FUCK FUCK FUCK THE SCREAMING
OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD
Aaaand now they're back to being mildly annoying
Now they're like demonic cows
please don't start screaming again

(yes I know I'm late :B)

So I caved in and bought the game. **is slapped**

I started off immediately in Alaska apparently, and everything is covered in snow and there are pigs sliding on the ice everywhere. Unfortunately there weren't very many trees, so I went exploring by sliding on the ice to new islands.
Eventually, I decided to settle down in a nearby mountain and build a cave. I went and constructed an average cave about 3 blocks in before I hit stone. I built a wall, and I went up to seal the cave with a pumpkin block I found so I wouldn't lose it.
It was quickly night time, so I went inside the cave and locked off the wall. I built a little into the stone for a while.
After I was bored of that, I opened up the cave and was immediately attacked by what I think was a spider. So I got the fuck back in the cave.
"Wait no! I can kill the spider! YEAH!"
So I opened the block again, and jumped up to hit a creeper right in front of my entrance. Suprisingly, I was still alive afterwards, but my cave was pretty screwed up, and the pumpkin was destroyed. I didn't really feel like putting anything back together, so I explored more. A skeleton/zombie attacked me and I was down to bodaciously half a heart left. "Fuck it I'm turning it down to peaceful."
I'm liking the exploration, mining, and the building a lot more than the "hey something's attacking you if you don't turn around fast enough you might asplode" combat. Maybe once I build some better weapons or armour, but for now I'm keeping the game on peaceful.

TL;DR: What I do on my first save file before it becomes the pussy experimental file.

My first world was a snow one, but it was lagging really bad so I assumed it was down to the snow and made a new one. :B

And then once I got a world I liked I promptly fell down a hole and injured myself because I wasn't used to the controls and it was awkward doing it with a touchpad.

As previously mentioned I am a wuss and I usually have it on peaceful because I like wandering around without having to constantly look around for Creepers. Plus I was getting sick of being ambushed by them every single time I left my base in the morning (in fact that's the main reason why my base is some sort of castle/greenhouse hybrid in the first place, since they kept coming from above). :B

So, I took after Chloemew and build a greenhouse on top of my castle. Unfortunately, animals kept spawning and trampling my wheat, so I had to section it off with fencing and made an entrance available from the ceiling. I now have a cactus patch, the aforementioned wheat field, rows of bamboo, and a bunch of huge booty trees surrounding a three block deep pond that allows me to fish inside my base. My time has been well spent.

This sounds like a euphemism so much and I don't know why.
