TP was really iffy on the Triforce aspects. It just implied that Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf are just forever linked to their respective pieces and don't have to seek it out. Pretty sure that's how it worked in OoT too, but I haven't played it in forevs and can't remember.

I don't remember anything in Ocarina of Time that says he lost his Triforce of Power.

Or the others losing it either. Zelda passed down with birth, Link gets it, because he is the hero.

How the Triforce of Power was obtained by Ganondorf in TP has always been a mystery. It is possible (though somewhat unlikely) that someone who believed more in Courage or Wisdom attempted to obtain the Triforce, causing it to split and giving the Triforce of Power to Ganondorf, since he was the one who most believed in Power. There's no other reason that I can think of that would explain Ganondorf getting it, unless the Goddesses just felt like ruining someone's day...
Um...no. Since Link has courage and Zelda has wisdom this cannot work.

If a person with a pure heart (Link and Zelda fall under this qualification) touch the Triforce, they will get all of its power. If someone with a heart filled with evil touches it, it splits into three parts.

Nigga when did I ever say they lost it?

The only time someone has had to physically obtain a piece was in the original game and Wind Waker.

Actually Dragoon, the only way a person would get the entire Triforce is if they have a perfect balance of all three qualities. While it's obvious that Ganondorf doesn't have that balance, we don't really know if Zelda and Link do. They might break the Triforce too.

However, you are partially right. In the game, if a person with a pure heart entered the sacred realm, they would tranform the realm into a paradise. Ganondorf had an evil heart and turned the Sacred Realm into the Evil Realm. So the purity aspect of one's heart has a role in that.

Holy shit when did you start going here DZ.

Also, I'm not really understanding what all the naysayers are talking about Skyward Sword for. Most of the people that I've talked to about it say "NO I DON'T LIKE IT BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE IT BAAH"

A lot of people are hating on Skyward Sword because of the graphics.

You know, just like all the butthurting that was going on when people first saw Wind Waker.

I like the graphics, personally. They're supposed to resemble an impressionist painting and they do. The only thing I want changed is the amount of contrast. Upping the contrast just a little bit would get rid of that milky sheen that is seen on the screenshots, which I've seen some people get annoyed over.

I have mixed feelings with the graphics. On one hand I don't hate it (I love that it's inspired by impressionism), but on the other hand I feel like it doesn't resemble the game's official artwork, which is disappointing for me because I love the artwork.

I'm hoping that my negative feelings over the graphics are only because there aren't very many screenshots of the game yet.

I was surprised when I saw the graphics because of the 'not resembling the art' thing too. But it's grown on me. Besides, the early artwork was probably made when the game was still in its' early stages, so they used Twilight Princess Link as a model.

I'm not sure why they didn't shift the art more for the latest pieces, though.

I think the graphics are amazing, probably my favorite art style in the series so far.

It's definitely not bad looking, but I think it might look better if it was in the style of the concept art.

The artstyle in the first trailer surprised me, as I had been expecting another game in the more realistic style, due to that first piece of artwork. After getting over the initial surprise I really like it, though Link's face looks a bit off in certain shots.

Honestly, the second thing I thought of after the surprise of the new style was how there was going to be a massive shitstorm about on the Internet. I must be psychic. :colbert:
or people people on the Internet are predictable.

After the hurricane that was The Wind Waker, It was to be expected that the "fanbase" would react the same way. Lets hope the game shuts them up like The Wind Waker did when it was released.
