...the mom had played LoZ before. It was her sacred duty to pass on the knowledge. I feel I must do it in her stead.

I have trouble enjoying most Zelda games

this is a fact of which I am terribly ashamed, and would like suggestions for after I finish Oracle of Ages.

Any of the handhelds are good.

Minish Cap, Link to the Past, Phantom Hourglass (odd one out).

I especially love Minish Cap, if not for sheer originality concerning the Zelda universe.

This is not uncommon on this ages's children.

IT STILL MAKES ME MAD.

Kids these days don't have any appreciation for the classics. *leans on cane*

Cobb, I strongly recommend Minish Cap. It was the very first Zelda game I played and I love it to pieces. Plus the story is very original compared to the other games in the series.

I remember beating Minish Cap to 100%. I got chills fighting Vaati, who still ranks with me as one of the best drawn villains of all time. We need more competant villainfolk like Vaati :P

So who here cant WAIT to grab Skyward Sword soon as its out? Kinda hopin Ganondork aint the final dude though :P

Thats why in videogames where there are collectibles, and you cant tell where you got them from, you create a log of where you find them, so you can tell where you havent looked.

He can't be. The game is set before Ocarina of Time, isn't it?

Well, that depends on how you look at it. In my personal timeline, Four Swords Adventures is the first appearance of Ganon(dorf).

If anyone wants to know my timeline, it's:

-------------------------------------/------------TWW--PH------------ST----------TLOZ--TAOL
TMC------FS--FSA-----------OOT
-------------------------------------\MM-------TP-----------ALTTP--LA--OOS--OOA

I have a reasoning for each of these in the place they're in. But I'm not gonna flood this post with them.

Ganondorf could work in Skyward Sword, depending on how he would be implemented. But I would love a knew villain/Vaati for Skyward Swords final boss.

Also, first post on this forum. Yay! :D

I don't think Ganny will appear in Skyward Sword.

Unless, of course, only Ganon appeares, and after his defeat he is forced to seek out a host body to contain his evil (my personal theory as to how Ganondorf rose to evil power). BUT WHATEVER I AM EXCITE FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL GAME.

A lot of people say that Ganondorf became truly evil when he invaded the Sacred Realm. However, in OoT he had already cursed the Deku Tree, Lord Jabu-Jabu, and sealed the Dodongo caves before he ever entered the realm. So the exact time he became 'evil' can be open for discussion

That's...pretty much my exact timeline. :)

I'd say we will see how Ganon (the being) came to be on Skyward Sword.

I mean, according to WW, the Master Sword is the only thing that can damage Ganondorf (and therefore, Ganon), so wouldnt it be logical that we see how the being that can only be damaged by the Master Sword came to be in the same game the Master Sword is created?

Just guessin'

Also, that is also my timeline.
