Decided to post this here for those who only observe this topic, because some topics have that (the comic ideas thread for example).

WARNING: Really weird. Also not for the faint of heart or mind.

I just remembered the really weird story that I for some reason thought up back in 8th grade and am about to tell it because why not:

Imagine Link is on another quest to save princess Zelda. And he is buck nude. alll of a sudden, his dick falls off. He picks it up and waves it around like his sword. He triumphantly yells, "I'm coming Zelda!" in some stupidly silly voice. He runs off 112.5 degreess clockwise from the correct direction he was facing.

They're annoying, but nowhere near as bad as they were in Skyward Sword. Still, getting up on Ridgeland Tower was a pain.

I'm absolutely loving the puzzles in these shrines. They're clever, challenging, but not usually frustrating. It honestly feels like these shrines were designed by Aperture Science. I do think that the puzzle in Mirro Shaz shrine was irritating, though. I've been through a little over 30 shrines so far, and it's the only one where I felt any need to look up a walkthrough. It wasn't even because of a puzzle; I knew exactly what I was supposed to do, but it felt to me like they made it unnecessarily complicated and difficult. In case anyone's having trouble with the same shrine: I found the second part much easier once I moved the ball back off of the platform and used the sledgehammer's charged blow to launch it as far as possible.

I looked out my window a few hours ago and noticed it was light outside. I just pulled an all-nighter playing a game for the first time in I don't know how long. THIS GAME IS SO GOOD

Is there a currently available amiibo that gives the Fierce Deity set?

Which one? Lanayru? Hebra? Death Mountain? I had some trouble with Lanayru, but it was worth it when I got to the top. Haven't tackled Death Mountain yet.

Just completed the Yiga Clan Hideout. I thought the Yiga clan was pretty cool and sinister up until now, but now…ugh. The idea of a Ganon-worshipping cult is cool, made even cooler by how they're an offshoot of the Sheikah, but now I can't take them seriously. What a waste. Also those instakill guys can go fuck themselves with those bananas they love so much.

EDIT: Just beat Waterblight Ganon; it was surprisingly a total pushover. Just had to unload Shock Arrows into it until it died.

Dunno if mentioning a certain race in game is a spoiler but I'll spoiler it anyway.

So, I was all self-conscious about cooking bird-meat items in Rito Village, right in front of bird-people.
Then I talk to this Rito in the Gerudo city and they just made me feel dumb for thinking that.

I don't think it's a spoiler; they were in the trailers, though their design has changed a lot since Wind Waker.

Beat the game today; at least for now, it's in my top 3 favorite Zelda games. It didn't give me everything I wanted, but it gave me things I didn't know I wanted. It's got some big issues, but it mostly makes up for them. 4/5

Can we take a moment to appreciate how wonderful each race is in BOTW? My favorite are probably the Zora and Rito.

The Rito are fantastic! Although I kind of miss the awkward bird gijinka ones from WW.

They did a great job with all of them, and I'm really pop flyin' to see the Rito again too! I do prefer their Wind Waker design, but I like the new designs of the Gerudo and Zora. I also love how expressive the Gorons are now. My only complaint is that there weren't any new races. Still, I guess it's better to do a good job revamping old races than do a poor job introducing new ones.

…so…when are Subrosians and Minish coming back?
minish might actually have a chance of coming back since the game's designers really wanted a shrinking mechanic and a race of tiny people
