It had a pretty short run because I couldn't figure out how to run it 24/7

(Double post, but whatever)

So I created a new world on my laptop (because Terraria doesn't use the Steam Cloud) and what do I find?
Demon Altar.
Like 50 feet beneath the spawn.
Right the fuck there.

I am postponing any playing until 1.1 comes out so i take my decked out character, beat skeletron, get new ores and become a boss.

guys i found an abandoned server.

It's ben greifed to hell and back, lava errywhere, and gaping holes leading the the underworld are common.

HOWEVER. there are floating houses of gold bricks, dungeon blocks, and other things. untouched for the most part.

You need gravitation potions to get to most places, but a grapple and rocket boots should do just fine. you need at least one of these to leave spawn.

the number is 199.115.230.107

no password.

Come salvage with me! Note that lava/water/explosives are banned, i think.

NEVERMIND THE HACKERS ARE BACK AND LAVA IS RAINING DONT COME

1.1 is coming out on December 1st. I will try to keep the Awkward Terrain server up as long as possible during the weekwneds/vacations of that month.
