I seem to be falling a great height. It also miraculously became night time.


The rest of its pretty blurry until the sweet, bitter end, so my guy will have to explain it through interpretive dance!

So.

Minecraft adventures.

I decided to start DIGGING A HOLE, because that is what you do in Minecraft as far as I know. I happened to come across a small lava floor. I began breaking the blocks in front of the lava flow to create a stream, as it would provide me with free light as I explored. Eventually, however, I found a naturally built tunnel. As I finally had the means to produce torches through some coal I had picked up, I began to explore that way as well. Soon I found myself falling into a near bottomless chasm, landing in some water. I dug out a little aclove in the rock next to the small underwater pond, and now I have a new UNDERGROUND BASE.

TL;DR I think I finally figured out why people enjoy Minecraft so much and I think I shall soon be unable to stop playing.

People should pay for minecraft to pay for game dev.

So I loaded up a new game world and got a nice place to start. At first I decided to punch one of those giant trees, got tired of that, and only punched the bottom half of it. After thinking for a few seconds, I got some dirt blocks, stacked them, and punched a path to the top of the tree. I decided to wait there until nightfall, and surprisingly nothing was able to get me at the top of the tree.

So basically now I have a magical floating dirt/tree base. I'm working on replacing the tree parts with dirt blocks.

If you asked sooner I could have but I gave it to two random people.

I just got done downloading the new Painterly Pack
and all my leave blocks and the tops of the grass blocks are deviod of color

ANYWAYS notch said he's gonna implement like map textures in the next patch so I may not need it. I also hope that the SMP bug thats making it slow is fixed too.

Whoo I hope he fixes multiplayer lag issues soon
