Around two or three, four if I'm unlucky and shoot them with low damage.

Oh ok, they must have less HP than I thought. I have never tried killing one as they are always in herds that I don't want to take on. I can kill boars when I trap them behind a fence though. 8)

But you don't have a q55 slingshot and 55 marksmanship (now 60) though do you

They have like 150-200 HP or something like that.

Haha no, I have a quality 12 Sling and 19 Marksman :D

I have been putting all my points into exploration though so I have 35 in that.

Yeah see uh your sling quality has a bit of a factor in the damage you do, and your marksmanship probably does too.

Sling Q is base damage. Minimum damage is increased with perception. Marksmanship speeds up the filling of the aim bar

Well, if you're looking for a high Q sling, then Exploration is the way to go, because it'll help you find higher Q Taproot and Nettles.

Or you could go the farming route, since you can use plant fibres as string.

Actually the q of Taproot and Nettles is determined by the soil quality underneath it. I think you gotta raise your survival skill a little if you're planning on having a high q sling, since survival affects the sling quality.

Wait, the quality of stuff you forage is determined by the soil? So, basically at random? Okay I'm gonna have to look this up.

EDIT: Wiki says it's determined by soil quality (which is random) but is capped by Survival. Which is weird, because I often find ~q10 stuff when my survival skill is only 7.

(hurr durr Water has low stats)

Go survival and make some uber slings. Alternatively go marksmanship so you can aim bows faster
