How long have you been discussing this? Not saying that it's been vain, but I imagine that the plot could be deeper than first depicted, when it will be released. I'm not very familiar with Legend of Zelda trailers history because I skip them entirely, though.

This isn't the first time they've passed off the story of a Zelda game as overly simple, Wind Waker's story was essentially advertised as finding your sister and that's it

You make it sound as if finding your sister was not a noble and important adventure

He makes it sound like it was deceptively simple, which it was.

Can someone please explain to me how the goddamn fishing game works in Ocarina of Time?

Yes I've looked up guides and they don't help.

I can't get anything to bite except on rare occasions and then I just lose the fish for no apparent reason????????????

I dunno, I think I had the same problem as you and then suddenly it clicked. I still can't target specific fish which makes MM's fishing holes complete bullshit since time passes as you fish, but it's been awhile so I probably don't remember too well and even if I did, IDK if it'll help.

I've finished the TriForce Heroes main course. It was disappointing. As I said earlier, I expected the story to go deeper, once later in the game. But it has done none of that.

OH MAN!
Hyrule Warriors Legends.
Linkle is a thing, she uses dual crossbows and looks awesome.

TP HD confirmed, along with a Wolf Link Amiibo, and a limited edition release.

DLC for Triforce Heroes including a Linebeck outfit, Fierce Deity Link outfit, and a new area that's a "defeat all the enemies" location.

Linkle in Hyrule Warriors after being held back from launch for being kinda too non-canonical

Zelda U coming in 2016 (maybe)

Good stuff.

I thought the plot was fine. The main thing that stuck with me though was how lacking the Hytopia town is for... anything. The shops are all straightforward but the villagers just say the same shit and cycle in and out of 2 or 3 locations and phrases and there's only like 5 of them.

Felt way too small and soulless. Wanted something more like Minish Cap's Hyrule Castle Town.

Linkle can go crossbow-crazy if she wants to, I like having Toon Link, Tetra and the King of Red Lions more anyway

The fact that they have her somewhat of a backstory instead of just plastering in GIRL LINK SEE WE'RE PROGRESSIVE PLEASE BUY OUR GAME does stand out though, much better than the way they just stuck Bug Girl from Skyward Sword in to fill a slot

You mean Agitha from Twilight Princess. :p

I like Agitha, I find her pretty fun to use.
Plus GIANT LIGHTNING BEETLES.

They don't have slots that they need to fill in. It's not a loto game. They thought it would be a neat addition, and she was.
