While people are going on about how bad certain Zelda games are I'd just like to say this.

I place Spirit Tracks as one of my favourite Zeldas, alongside Wind Waker and Minish Cap. :V

I actually really like TP, despite its flaws.

And to be honest, which Zelda game has actually had difficult dungeons?

Here we go again, oh how absolutely horrible ALBW is, clearly IT HAS NO SOUL AND THE CREATORS DIDN'T CARE AT ALL, yes, that's it, that's definitely a completely true fact

I like how you're specifically avoiding the same arguments you've made before since they were shot down

I wouldn't say ST is one of my favorites, but I do think it's pretty underrated. It was very charming, had a great soundtrack, fixed a lot of the problems PH had, and improved some of the things PH did right. I especially love how Zelda was a likable character who was constantly helpful and active in the story; I think ST probably had the best Zelda out of all the games.

I like TP too; I just think it's inferior to a lot of earlier Zelda games. And really, not many Zelda games have actually had hard dungeons (except for maybe the first three games); honestly, I wouldn't mind how ALBW's dungeons are pitifully easy if the game's other aspects made up for that, but no. The game has insultingly easy dungeons as well as a completely unimaginative overworld, boring characters, and a horribly-written story. The painting gimmick is the only notably good thing about ALBW, and that can't make up for all of its faults.

Most of that is opinion, I found the characters and story compelling

And if you're going to argue that the overworld is unimaginative, while at the same time saying it's exactly the same as LttP's overworld, you're essentially saying that LttP's overworld was unimaginative

AquaBat why are you fishing for an argument? Exactly no one is talking to you and you're treating people's expressed opinions like they're stating facts. People clearly have some Strong Opinions boit zelda here, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be respectful and state your differing opinion in a similarly respectful way.

Certainly didn't sound like an opinion, what with insulting the creators and all

Even though ALBTW's dungeons are short, I do like their design, what with leading the thief girl out of a dungeon or getting through a Hyrule dungeon just to fight the boss in Lorule, or turning lights on and off in Dark Palace.

I will admit, a lot of the dungeons, aside from being too small and easy, were rather well designed. That still doesn't excuse the lack of original concepts (dungeon under a gargoyle filled with Dairas where you have to escort a girl who you find locked in a cell, an ice dungeon with ludicrous number of floors, a dungeon filled with wallmasters that has multiple entrances and is located in a forest full of giant skeletons, etc.), but still, credit where credit's due.

bodaciously everything that everyone says in the world at all times is an opinion unless they cite a factual reference. You don't have to preface everything you say with "in my opinion..." for it to be an opinion. That's how he feels about a video game, and you feel differently about a video game, and that's ok. What's not ok is starting an argument with someone who isn't even talking to you for no reason because you don't agree with them.

There is a polite way to express a differing opinion, and there is starting an argument for no reason. If you can't stop yourself from arguing with someone who frankly doesn't seem to care what you're saying, just put them on your ignore list and move on.

So saying that the creators of a game didn't care about what they made and didn't try to make it a good game is a polite way to express an opinion?

They didn't really insult the creators of the game. And yes, it is a polite way to express an opinion because they are not arguing with others who may disagree, and they are being respectful to other members of the forum. I don't give a shit what he says about the creators of A Link Between Worlds because they are not members of this forum, and they are not expressing offensive opinions about them.

Apparently, you can transfer the characters to the Wii U version. It also has all the DLC characters from the Wii U game.
