I think Great Bay Temple is a bit better since they improved the boss fight and made it so that you can equip different types of arrows at the same time.

It's not the worst water temple.

Nah, I actually think it's one of the better water levels in the series. It's not nearly as good as The Mermaid's Cave or the Ancient Cistern, but it's still much better than OoT's Water Temple or OoA's Jabu Jabu's Belly. It was a bit easy to get lost, yes, but it had quite a few interesting puzzles and a memorable design.

Jabu Jabu's belly in Ages isn't THAT bad once you know what you're doing. Mermaid's Cave is best dungeon though.

Also I'm guess that since you get the Hero's Bow in Woodfall Temple, Fire Arrows in Snowhead Temple, and Light Arrows in Stone Tower Temple, you get Ice Arrows in Great Bay Temple?

It's really interesting to me that this game puts a lot more emphasis on the masks you collect to solve puzzles rather than dungeon items. I don't know if it's good or bad, just interesting. It's almost like the dungeon items aren't even really that necessary. I'd kind of like to see how puzzles would have been constructed if they didn't exist at all.

They actually made some pretty nifty puzzles for the ice arrows in this game. That's one of the reasons why I actually kind of like Great Bay Temple. That and it gives me an excuse to play as Zora Link. Zora Mask + Chateau Romani = pure joy.

Ohohoho fuuuuuuuck this dungeon. I managed to get the ice arrows and they are absolutely useless so far. I have no idea what the hell I'm even supposed to be doing.

That reminds me I stopped playing OoA because I couldn't figure out how to get into Jabu Jabu to begin with.

Shoot them at water to create platforms, shoot them at octoroks to make bigger platforms, shoot them at blue chuchus to make ice blocks, shoot them at waterfalls to freeze them.

Got the ability to make Ben, made it to Stone Tower Temple.

Also I wish all of the masks had multiple uses, instead of just a select few outside the transformation masks.

I think she meant just overall, not in relation to the Elegy of Emptiness.

In some alternate reality, the games are called Legend of Link.
I want to move to that dimension.

Yeah, most masks only have 1 use for 1 specific quest and that's it.
I mean, the good thing about that is that you don't have to switch around your masks as often. I already got a bit annoyed at managing the transformation masks in stonetower.
