Wait. Wait wait wait.

Wait.

You can ignore the mob swarm puzzle rooms with the Stone Mask?

I feel so dumb. I played through the game seven times (N64) and it never occurred to me to think about it.

It'd've (totally valid contraction, yo') made my Three-Hearts Personal-Best-Speed Run oh so much more tolerable.

I've finally unlocked Zant, which I'd been not doing any real work for. I can't wait to never use him.

In other news; Darunia is way better than I ever gave him credit for. He might be the best character for stunning and disrupting enemies.

Also, they didn't change the Goht boss fight, right?
That was perfection the way it was.

Ehh, they changed it a little bit, but it's just as awesome as ever.

I spent like half an hour running around the game because I have 22 masks and I knew there were 24, so I knew I was missing one. (Not counting the Giant's mask since I know you get that later.)

I ended up looking it up and ha ha, Fierce Deity is the 24th mask, which means I essentially have them all. Derp.

Seeing as I had a ton of star points, I got A Link to the Past on wiiU because it seemed to me I'd have fun playing it on a big screen. Replaying it now after having beat Link Between Worlds last year I do feel like LBW was a rehash, but it did a really good job of making it more easily playable. What makes older Zelda games harder, I think, is that I have more difficulty moving around.

I think that might be a bit of an understatement. "Insipid copy utterly devoid of originality outside of a few gimmicky puzzles" might be a better description.

Not surprised (lol Nintendo deadlines - Pikmin 3 was in development for like ten years). I like Nintendo's approach to development. Give a time when you hope to have it released, but if it isn't the best product it can possibly be, then just keep working on it until it's amazing.

Like the exact opposite of Sonic Boom.

I definitely won't mind waiting if it means that this game can be the best it can possibly be. I'm just hoping other people won't be in an absolute fit over this though.

Same thing happened with Twilight Princess. I recall Miyamoto saying something about a delayed game eventually being good and bad game being bad forever. So hey, maybe they can use this extra time to write a fucking decent story.
