Its so cool to see how much the graphics have improved since the first game in that pic, just by comparing the cores

I don't think the graphics have improved that much, valve just put more effort into it.

Personally I don't see Wheatley as a "True Neutral" core. He did go out of his way to help you escape.

Though I probably shouldn't be talking yet since I only played up to the part where you fall down the shaft to old Aperture.

He's true neutral because he's so stupid, his motives are influenced entirely by circumstance.

So I just played Portal 2 again to try and get a few more achievements. Something I noticed about the final battle:
even if you put a blue portal under Wheatley to get to the stalemate button, it becomes orange when the bombs go off. And even if you right click to shoot an orange portal at the moon, it ends up blue. Guess they didn't want to render the scene for both colors.
