Emphasis on mostly, there are gonna be like 20-32 per store, and this bodaciously just cut them in half because EVERYONE is going ot probably want to buy one for their friend. This doesn't solve scalping, it just gives scalpers more Jigglypuff to sell for 50 bucks.

The opposite of letting Scalpers get their hands on two? Letting people buy two may be good, that way a friend can just give it to their friend who couldn't make it, but it also lets scalpers get two of them to just make more pointless profit, I don't see how letting people buy two can help stop scalping other than what I previously mentioned. The fix we need is that we get more Amiibo.

They've already been addressing that. Store availability doesn't necessarily represent overall quantity. Some stores just don't order that many.

And would you rather that scalpers have no limit at all?

Scalping is already illegal.

We also don't know if this person actually intended to steal the games/Amiibos, or was simply just a common lowlife looking to steal a delivery truck and whatever contents were inside.
