I'm pretty bad at this, or I have shitty luck.
Only have iron greaves and copper chestplate.
Silver broadsword though.
Haven't found any really accessories though.

I can't even make anything worth anything. I still have a wooden sword and I just found an iron deposit. Do I just have to keep digging deeper forever? I don't want a Moria situation.

I picked up this game yesterday and was meaning to talk about it earlier, but I forgot and kept playing. I've been a bit lucky so far, I found a chest not too far down with a boomerang in it that emits light while it's traveling, and has decent damage to boot, but as soon as I got it I ran around at night killing zombies thinking nothing could stop me. Eye of Cthulhu spawned and proceeded to gank me. Lesson learned.

I also got a bloodmoon on the third night while I was still building a house. There was so much pain.

This is all in single player as well, since I don't feel like jumping out of nowhere into one of your servers without asking.

Okay, after seeing Nancy's house, I've got an idea of what needs to happen in this game.

I also learned that I need to run away from shadow slimes.

So can Eye of Cthulu just spawn? I thought you needed to put a lense in a thing?

Yeah, it can just spawn. At night you can get a message which says "You feel an evil presence watching you", which means the Eye of Cthulhu will spawn tonight IF you are above ground.

If you're not above ground and the night passes, the message will reappear every night until he does spawn.

Apologies for the confusion. My laptop can't handle both the server and the playing of the game and I couldn't reliably get a hold of two computers.
