I agree with parents being the problem. Seriously, these neighbors down the street have two young boys who play Call of Duty on their older sister's Wii.
And you know what? Those boys are JERKS. They have no respect for authority, they have dirty mouths, and they love to beat stuff up when things don't go their way. Why? Because their parents let them get away with it--just like they get away with playing games that are too mature for them.
My point is, if the parents aren't willing to put their foot down and put some firm discipline in place, the kids will just continue to do whatever they want and get whatever they want--like violent video games. If the parents said 'no' once in a while the kids wouldn't be playing Call of Duty.
Parents need to look at what their kid wants before they buy it for 'little Johnny' and make an actual EFFORT to correct stupid behavior.
