Jesus fuck. That's nearly twice what we pay in America

We pay around $40 for brand new games. That's 60 AUD or about €35 EUR.

At least according to http://www.xe.com/

Sold brilliantly? For a game that was one of the most emotionally charged works gaming had ever seen, one of the most brilliant concepts for a game in a decade, and easily one of the greatest games of all time (no matter what the stupid Times has to say), less than a million worldwide is not "sold brilliantly", especially when you consider that fucking 50 Cent Bulletproof managed over a million. The game should have sold 2.5 million at least.
Oh, so your definition of selling well is relative to an arbitrary scale based on how much you liked the game? You make this mistake a lot, Indigo. Your opinions aren't facts. They're opinions. Even the Times disagrees with you.
Please go away from this discussion about new and interesting games as you clearly have nothing whatsoever to contribute.

And Sly Coopers platforming is actually usually referred to as some of the best, or rather was until inFAMOUS.

Yes, that's what I'd have to pay to preorder, say, Brütal Legend.

And was I the only one who kept encountering massive bugs (as in glitches that just locked up the system completely) in Madworld? No-one else ever seemed to mention them.
It's happened to me a few times. Thankfully doesn't happen very often.

Oh my gosh your point is so well articulated, there's absolutely nothing I can say in response to it. You've covered every possible counter argument I could possibly fathom. Sir, you've beaten me.

Also, I used Sly Cooper as an example because I couldn't think of anything else, sorry. Plenty of license games are guilty of this sloppy platforming business, if that helps you get the idea of what I'm referring to.

Eh. Happaned a bit too consistently in the Laboratory level - At about 30 seconds after the boss opens up, the game locks, whether I'm fighting him or not.

It is at the point where you imply that I am alone in my opinion of Shadow of the Colossus where I realise you're either too dumb to be conherent, or just trying to troll. Either way, please go away from this discussion.

WHAT!? Really? You lucky bastards! I pay that much for an old game, brand new games can vary in price anywhere from 60-80 dollars for me!

If it's any consolation your attitude throughout this whole thread made me think you were quite the idiot even before any voiced it! : D

Edit: Oh, and Indigo Dingo is being kind of a stupid douche too, but I'm not getting involved in that because I just... don't know what to add to that little argument.
