FFFFFF a reason to play it all over again. I have it on all my computers + PSP. Amazing game.

i liked the original music better

the new music isn't bad though. not a fan of all the distortion though.

So yeah, uh... let's make the thread name inaccurate and talk about Cave Story 3D instead.

I heard off TV tropes that co-op multiplayer was confirmed at some point, but haven't seen any evidence to prove it. Thoughts?

Co-op multi would be awesome, especially if you could do stuff like jumping on the other player's head so he can help you reach high places and stuff like that.

He's making it after this, apparently.
He's also adding in beta elements to the 3DS version, and I think I heard they were supposed to tie into 2.

The shadowy people seem to be (in order)

Sue, Misery, Balrog, Igor (the ears), either Prof. Booster (most likely), Jenka, or Ballos' second form (?!?!), The Doctor, and then Toroko.

Also try hitting the sound button on the site, where it says BGM, it changes it from the ambiance to what I can only assume is the real song from it's beat and such.

Co-op is only fun when you can both fuck over your partner and the consequences of doing so are light enough where it's still fun.

Sweet, old thread being resurrected! Is Balrog based on a bar of soap? Thought I read it somewhere but he looks more like a random rectangle than soap...

I might get cave story 3D due to hearing only good news about the old Cave Story plus better graphics!
