The Classic voice for female characters is Fiora's voice.

If only we had the voices of Reyn and Melia. And the great Heropon, of course.

Well I know what voice I'm choosing for my second playthrough.

Depending on the game I'll play through the first time exploring everything playing my own way then I'll play a second time with all the knowledge I've gained and see how well I do.
Plus with all the different battle styles you can do, I can effectively play a different way anyway.

Been playing Xenoblade Chronicles X a lot this month, I think it's my favourite game of this year and thus is my GoTY (for now, it's possible that Yakuza 5 might have that beaten when I get around to it, waiting till after Christmas though). I'm going to master all classes but I think my favourite is either Partisan Eagle (spear + sniper) or Mindmaster (I love Barrage ability)... of course I only have these right now haha.

Not sure what to go after I've mastered Mindmaster, but I'm enjoying taking my time doing sidequests and exploring the world when levelling my characters :). Only problem I have is collecting stuff as well forcing monsters to drop that thing you need is bit rubbish, but other than that it's not too bad.

Just got to Cauldros for the first time tonight; it's been a long time since a location in a video game made me simultaneously feel so intimidated and mesmerized. I was afraid this might turn out to be a standard (albeit humongous) lava area, but leave it to Xenoblade Chronicles X to consistently exceed my expectations. Well, in every area but its writing, but still.

Haven't posted much since I've been too busy playing. I'm already over 80 hours in.

I agree, but Sylvalum is the one that hit me hard. To me, it is the most unique of the continents. It's like nothing I've seen in a game before, and it's the one that best encapsulates the "alien world" vibe in my opinion.

Just out of curiosity, what divisions have people been joining? I went with the Reclaimers since I figured that improved drop rates would be statistically more useful over the course of a game this long, plus I liked the idea of being "officially" part of the search for the Lifehold.

Did anyone even join the Mediators; they're always in last place when I check the Divisogram.

Prospector here.
Was always trying to get as much Miranium in as possible, so much that I often didn't have enough storage and maxed on Miranium at each stock replenish.
Plus defense bonus, I like not dying.

I need to get more storage probes. My Miranium has been capped at 22500 for about 20 hours now. I heard they come as quest rewards but I'm busy doing affinity stuff so I haven't bothered to look up which quests they come from.

I think you get one as a reward for completing chapter 11. How many storage probes do you have right now?

Like two I think. I may have picked up a third one; I haven't messed with FrontierNav in a while since I didn't really need cheddar or Miranium at the time. (Now I'm working on actually getting good gear, since I've been coasting on adequate gear most of the game.)

I just beat Chapter 10 last night. I've been beating one chapter and then scouring NLA and the rest of the world for things I can do. I don't want to rush through the story and then have nothing to look forward to, so I'm spreading it out some.

Also WOW, that Chapter 10 boss fight. I got decently far the first time before dying. At the time I had only been using one skell on my main character since I didn't know how the AI would handle a skell and was worried that it would wreck them. Then I looked down and saw that I had over 9 million credits. So I went back to NLA, bought three skells, equipped all of them with the G-Buster giant sword, went back, and had an epic skell battle. It was a great fight. Easily the best boss fight of the game so far.

Pretty sure that fight exists so that the game can say go get skells for your whole party you nerd since the damage output of the boss was like nothing if you were using one.

Okay; I've had five for a while now, and I've had them all lined up in Oblivia. If you do have 3 or more, I'd recommend keeping them adjacent to one another, since they do chain like mining and research probes.

And yes, Chapter 10's boss is awesome, though I did have a lot of trouble with its second form. I'd heard that your party members would trash any Skells you gave them, but mine have done just fine with them. I finally have four now, since I just got my first level 50 Skell last night. Tip for anyone looking for Skell parts: go to Cauldros. Mere minutes after I got my new Skell, I got a ton of great equipment from Ganglion enemies in the upper areas of Cauldros, including a level 50 G-Buster.

Nice. The character creator is great; I introduced a friend of mine to this game a week ago, and we messed around with the character creator. The result:

Periwinkle, the cotton candy goblin.

How is beauty of this magnitude possible?

So does Meredith & Co's Skell gear not upgrade at level 5?

Got some busy times that prevented me from playing, but I'm at level 25, and I'm currently a Duelist lv8. Not sure which class I'll hit next. Reclaimers sounded great to me, with both probes and White Whale claiming, but I explore so much, I figured Pathfinders are basically the go-to class until one is done exploring.
