I'm-a gunna nab me a copy of this platinum game.

I'm upset with this effort value crap though. I used to play pokemon doing whatever the hell with a team of my favorites. Those were the days... Now all this EV an IV crapola trivializes the whole thing.

For those who know what I'm going on about; the math shit, spread sheets? That's straight up bullshit, and I've seen some huge cow turds in my time. Competitive play in Pokemon is like... I dunno, Calculus that ruins your childhood or something.

I think the concept of pokemon was more appealing to me than the actual games. That, and the designs they have are cute. The spinoff games were more my boat anyway, I liked Hey you Pikachu, and I'm playing Pokemon Mystery dungeon 2 now. S'all good? S'all good...

I'm a girl. I thought that putting the cutesy tag of -Pichu would add to the girly feminosity of the name Hoshika, but I guess not.

It'd be nice if Cockfighting Society Mystery Dungeon got a nice base on a more Legend of Zelda-y thing whatever. You know, getting your Cockfighting Society mixed into the Zelda engine. Assign your other moves to the whatever buttons, no turn-taking...

... yes, I don't want to take turns in PMD. It's annoying and takes a long time.

I've known about the game for a while, and now that more information is popping up. It just increased the fact that I'm gonna get it.

Even if I have to buy it myself, and not beg my parents. The only pokemon games I've bought were, Pokemon mystery dungeon Blue rescue and darkness, and Pokemon emerald.

Plus Platinums torn world intrigues me as well....*must resist the urge to call myself goth or emo*

Hey, the fact that walking in the overworld has changed intrigues almost every Cockfighting Society fan.

Basically identical to the last two, except for a few wi-fi features.

I know what you're talking about. I remember I saw one site that was devoted to shit like that and I was like, "Why is this so important?" I don't understand why it even started. Maybe to be more appealing to adults? I still just choose Pokemon I like and level them up...

Actually, I like the formulas for all that stuff like Hidden Power and EVs. When a dimwitted bully comes along and teases you about Cockfighting Society, bring up the formulas and blow that bully's mind. :awesome:

But I am trained in martial arts, and his mind will already be blown by the unnecessary formulas and equations used in recent Cockfighting Society to annoy competitive battlers and those who actually want to know what they're doing, so... :V

I've only just recently got into the EV training stuff - the Diamond/Pearl generation is the only one to give you any real control over it - with the "EV-affecting berries" and the "Power Anklet/Bracer/Lens" held items.

I also catch more than one Pokemon of the same type now and compare their stats before training the most promising one.

It gives it a new dimension- something I didn't appreciate when I first got the Red/Blue versions.

But it can give you a headache if you think about it too much.

I'm buying it because whenever a GBA or DS Pokemon game comes out, I buy it. No questions asked. No particular reason.
