Tree stump actually. Oh how I love stealing from and killing Fargoth.

One major thing that prevents me from playing Morrowind again is the horrific chance-to-hit system.

So do I. That's Fargoth, who teaches you right away that wood elves simply deserve whatever death you grant them.

Well you originally do find his ring in a barrel in the tutorial zone actually. The tree stump is where he hides his stash or something.

Shhhhh, the important thing is that justice is served and all concerned wood elves are dead.

I learned that Ulfric, Galmar, and Rikke all used to be best friends. I feel sorry for them.

So, in Online, we apparently cannot sit in chairs. I am disappoint.

Signed up for ESO beta testing.

I am glad to say my score was above average. *crosses fingers*

So I think I'm gunna try playing Oblivion. I got it a while ago and ended up gettin discouraged when I was reemed on here for the great offense of playing an Elderscrolls game for the first time.
It's the ultimate edition so I think I've got all the DLC for it. Anybody have any tips or advice? I know it's different from skyrim so yeah.

On the hardest difficulty, a hit-and-run long ranged playstyle will keep you alive.

If you are over encumbered, you cannot move. Get all the loot that is worth anything, even if it's like six dollars. Sell it.

Thieves guild quests can get you cheddar quick.

Use the repair skill.

Make spells.

If anything, do at least the Dark Brotherhood questline. It's extremely well done.

Your skills get more points in them when you level up based on how much you use them. So if you jump around everywhere you get Acrobatics skill (pretty useless), if you sneak everywhere you get more Sneak skill, etc.

Just be careful because it's easy to like, spend a ton of time making useless potions to sell and then you level up and you think "yeah, look at all these points I could get in Alchemy, I'm a take those", but if you don't level up your combat skills you can get yourself stuck with a useless character. Plus, if you get a lot of skill points really quickly, you level up more, and the monsters level up with you and you're just sitting there making potions.

If you screw up leveling you can just lower the difficulty though, or reset stuff with console commands.
