I'm rebuilding my Ps2 collection with some games I missed the first time around. You know, its easy to see why its the best console of all time.

Not legally perhaps, but there's ways around it

In terms of its mastery across all genres, in terms of its pure scope and diversity, in terms of its pure ability in doing it all, I doubt you could find any console that surpasses it....for now. One day it will pass the crown, but I seriously doubt that gonna happen for a good three years, and even then only if the current release trends remain constant.

And we don't talk about those ways. Thats like saying the Ps3 is the best because in addition to its own library, it can also play the Playstation library, and early ones can play the Ps2 library. Its a bonus feature, but we don't count it that way unless its an official release.

And even then stuff like Metroid Prime Trilogy, God of War Collection and Okami on the Wii are up for serious debate.

But the downloadable psone games are official...
