AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Transferring Pokemon that I have ActionReplay codes for. They're not hacked Pokemon in the regular sense in that they are made with the stats of existing Pokemon I caught in Colosseum that I can't transfer.
Anyway, what I need is someone to run the AR codes, get the 6 Pokemon I have in mind from the boxes they'd be generated into, and trade them with me online.

If anyone is actually willing to help me out here, send me a PM and we can work it out.

I put codes into my AR manually and I can't connect to the Pokemon Global Trade thing anyway because my DS doesn't recognise my router.

Wait, do you mean that it doesn't detect a WiFi at all, or that it does but can't connect?

I think the issue is the DS only works with WEP access keys - my router uses a different system (wifi setup information).

In order to use my DS online I'd have to reconfigure my router to WEP, but that would mean readjusting all the other gear (which is too much effort and/or hassle).

You can always buy a Nintendo DS dongle if you really want to get online. I'm not really all that interested in DS online play.

Well, they did do this before.

Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald are compatible with FR/LG even though FR/LG were released months afterwards. They're also compatible with D/P/PL even though it's a DS game.
I think they actually dissappear from R/S/E when you trade them into D/P/PL's little park thing.

Every other person I was expecting to help, and I mean every, ended up with some problem or other with either not being able to do WiFi trades, not having internet access on the computer, or somehow losing AR!


Edit: At least, thats what I would be saying if you hadn't disconnected from Steam right after finally finishing the codes and hosting online! Gah!

Well, what I mean is, you can transfer your pokemon without any trouble to the DS. But you can't battle or anything.

You can do plenty of battling on the DS. And transfering pokemon from a previous generation isn't really anything special. The same happened with the second generation, but that was a much greater leap.

Start making sense, now.

I was referring to just R/S/E, you can't battle it against D/P/PL.
And I guess that's true, cross-generation trading has happened before...
I guess I shouldn't have mentioned R/S/E and D/P/PL in the same sentence.

Let's just leave it at:
Nintendo made it so that R/S/E would be compatible with FR/LG even before FR/LG was released. It is very likely that they'll do the same for D/P/PL and the new Johto Remakes. And that's why it's possible to hack pokemon that actually came from Johto into Pearl.

How do we know that the Chikorita isn't an event Pokemon or somethig? It is, after all, a G/S/C starter. I demand a Pidgey from Johto, then I'll start getting my hopes up.

Okay: if there's no record of it being given out at an event, and the Pokemon servers class it as hacked, and the owner said that it was hacked, its not that big a step to say that its a hacked pokemon.

Seriously, if you're as much a Pokemaniac as I am, you will love this... game? It's not really a game though, more like an aquarium. Its brilliant for actually seeing all those crap Pokemon you caught for fun having an actual use other than filling your PokeDex. And the graphics look bad in screenshots, but when you have 500 of those models wandering around at once, it really looks a lot more impressive!

Unless you're really shallow that you can't even look at anything pre-6th generation console. Then you've just got a problem.

I don't deny that it is a hacked Pokemon, but what if the Johto Chikorita is in the game's programming in preparation for an event? Kind of like how you could hack the game to get a Shaymin before any Shaymin events had even happened.

The fact that it's a Chikorita, the first Pokemon of the Johto Pokedex, makes me wary. So what I'm thinking is, if it's in preparation for a 4th G/S remake, then hacking other Johto Pokemon can't be that hard, can it?
