Neither Gligar nor Gliscor have levitate as their ability.

Gravity removes the Ground-type immunity granted by Levitate, Flying-type, Magnet Rise, Telekinesis, Air Balloons, etc.

Nothing is immune to Earthquake.

If you have a Pokemon that can learn Earthquake it can most likely learn Stone Edge or some other Rock-type move. Gravity is way too situational to consider though.

Most of the time, sure, but the massive boost to accuracy it provides (Anything over 60 Accuracy will always hit with Gravity active, so using the raw power of Hydro Pump, Blizzard, etc. over their weaker more accurate counterparts is a cornerstone of the move) combined with the removal of ground immunity means it's a bit more practical in doubles.

In fact it was particularly common in VGC16 (and annoying, as Bronzong tended to use Gravity, then Hypnosis spammed for the rest of the game while Primal Groudon enjoyed being able to hit everything in the game with a perfect accuracy Precipice Blades)

Interesting, I've never really looked into to Doubles too much, considering I'm bad at controlling just one pokemon.

So in my GameStop Quest today - the one I only ever take when Pokemon events are restricted to Gamestop stores. There's something about BO and shuffling, mumbling patrons that just turns me off to the idea of being a regular customer - I stopped at 3 stores to get Marshadow cards. 2 from the first store, 1 from the second store... and at the third store I asked about the cards and the clerk gave me 10 cards.

So if anyone needs a Marshadow code, I can PM you one. Not sure if they're USA only, but I believe they are.

I haven't played Moon in a while... not sure why. Nowadays I just open it up occasionally to look at all my nicknamed Pokés.

It took me 18 years to realise that Raticate is based off the word Eradicate.

Just want to nip this in the bud before a 14 year old comments a terrible joke about Ekans, Arbok, and Muk.

But yeah, a ton of Pokemon have clever little names like that. Its one of my favorite things. The name origin section of Bulbapedia Pokedex pages are always interesting. usually interesting. sometimes. interesting.
