AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I finished the main story of Pokemon Sun two days ago. I started it Christmas Day.

My team (for most of the playthrough):

Will Treaty (Decidueye), Surfer Dave (Alolan Dugtrio), Chowder (Event Snorlax), Charlie Brwn (Wishiwashi).
Ended with these guys + Nebby (Solgaleo), Veler (Alolan Golem, obtained via in-game trade)

Friends along the way:
Woody (Trumbeak), Walter (Slowpoke), Thatch (Yungoos), Viger (Magnemite), Tamara (Salandit), Qute (Lurantis).

Fun things with Chowder the Snorlax!
Apparently using Z-Metronome changes the Z-move type to whatever type the move chosen is.
One of the moves I got out of Metronome was Prismatic Laser. WTF?
I used Z-Metronome and it chose Sunsteel Strike, ending in Corkscrew Crash. That poor Happiny...

Number of times fainted: 2.
Once for the first battle against the Elite Four (Went in not knowing I had to be prepared), the other time... Was early in the adventure, but I can't remember when or where...

I actually just started pokemon moon a few days ago because I didn't have a SD card. But I do now.

Hatched about 30 eggs today in Pokemon Go. Got shit all for candy, but at least I got a few more baby evolutions and dex entries. Would be nice to get a Mareep though. Got 2 eggs with a 25% chance of Mareep each before the event ended. Also a Gen 2 starter egg so hopefully I'll get a Cyndaquil and not more Chikorita since I am drowning in them.

I don't even know why I keep telling people "I'm waiting for gen V to come out in Cockfighting Society GO, then I'll pick it up again."
On the inside, I know it's just an excuse for my own laziness.

You'll be one of the like 40 people playing Pokemon Go in 6 years when they add Gen V, then

It's our tie-in event to the spring TCG set that just released with Lycanroc heavily featured. We previously got Darkrai and Deoxys events when similar sets released during event dry periods.

So not as weird as it first seems.

Love the hell outta Lycanrock + No Guard so i'm super pleased. Also I'll always take a free Life Orb gimme dat shit.

I reset Moon version for another run with a custom team!

I really wanted to replay SoulSilver but I do this thing where I personify my Pokemon team and give them all characters so then I would have to move them all up to Moon version and that would be agony, so instead I just handpicked a new team.

Currently I'm most of the way through Melemele Island with this team:
Quagatie - F Wooper named after Rinoko
Togetim - M Togepi named after Lord Retardus
Kattin - F Gastly (shiny) named after my BFF's old RP character
Flaffarosami - M Flaaffy named that because I mentally gave the Mareep a preening, pompous personality in my head and it sounds like a pompous twat of a name
Cynful - M Quilava, because its a Cyndaquil pun
Mew - a goddamn Mew. It's actually the FAL2010 event Mew distributed to HG/SS! I've just been holding onto it for 7 years. It started at Level 5 with Pound, Transform, Explosion, and Swords Dance. its delightful


Also I h i g h l y recommend giving a Normalium Z to Mew and using Breakneck Blitz, it looks fucking ridiculous.
And the Pokemon Refresh thing with Mew is so adorable. Mew loves head pets and belly pats but if you pet its tail it goes and backs away in fear
