Hahahaaaaaa two of my Tapus have useless natures because I forgot to check.
I also named them, in order from Koko, Lele, Bulu and Fini: Chicken Bake, Sprinklecake, Pizza Steak, and Fish in Lake.
I'm pretty proud of those names.

I plan on naming my Tapu Koko "Koko Puffs"

I should check and see how much of an effect natures really have if people care so absurdly much about them. I have bodaciously never given a single chicken fried f*ck about them.

I just beat the Cockfighting Society League by continuesly using Revive on my fainted mons while my opponent's last mon was slowly dying of Toxic while also continuesly one-shotting my mons. That counts as having a strong bond with your Cockfighting Society, right?

Anyway, my team consisted of Decidueye, Toucannon, Raichu, Salazzle, Ninetales and Kommo-o.

I can honestly say I did not use Raichu, I had Psychic and Electric covered by Bruxish and Vikavolt.

Decidueye and Salazzle were definitely on my team, Kommo-o & Salazzle are my best~

Decidueye, Snorlax, Vikavolt, Mudbray, Wishiwashi and Solgaleo for me. Salazzle just didn't make the cut. She was fast and strong but not strong enough to one-shot most enemies and got one-shotted herself.

Yeah, natures are kind of a huge deal. You can go ahead and ignore IVs unless you're planning on playing competitively, but you should pay attention to natures.

How big is big, though, uuuugh. *checks* Okay, 10%. So if you have a nature that actively conflicts with what you want a strong stat to be it's 20% weaker than what it could be. Yeah, that's sufficiently compelling, assuming a pokemon isn't too much of a pain in the booty to get.

Catching a Cockfighting Society with a good nature can be annoying as hell. Breeding for one is way better; everstone ftw.

Uuuugh, natures are part of pokemon's complex metagame. They're optional but are part of the overall concept of 'raising' your pokemon and will add to the strength of your team.

You don't HAVE to mess with them if you think they're a bother. But my Modest, perfect-IV Ninetails is my baby and she can beat you up.

Me! My finishing team was Primarina, Salamence, Phantump, Metagross, Lurantis, and Snorlax. I had a salandit for a while but stopped using it after I found out only the females evolve (it was male). I also wanted a Sylveon from the eevee the game gives you, but my affection with it wasn't high enough I guess and I let it evolve thinking it was, so I ended up with an umbreon that I trashed into the pc.

I just found out about island scanning and that it allows you to catch the starters from both Johto and Unova, plus a whole bunch of other mons not available otherwise in Alola. I wish I had known this sooner. :/

Don't fret, QR Codes for Pokemon can be found all over the Internet and you can scan them as many times as you want. You get 10 scans and 1 scan refills every 2 hours. It works out to about one Island Scan per day.
