IKR? I mean, there were some clothes I actually liked in X&Y; not so much in S&M. I recall when X&Y came out, a friend of mine said they were considering playing a girl just because that way they'd have more customization options. Kinda wish there were a way to customize your trainer's age, too. I'm getting a little sick of having to play someone half my age.

Hating the Battle Tree more and more. At least the AI doesn't cheat like it did in the Battle Maison, but it's still bullshit. Also reeeeeeally missing the Reset Bags right now. Desperately need to find some Kelpsy Berries.

So still a lack of options in men's clothing? That's disappointing.

Oh, that ain't the worst. Gardevoir and Muk can breed, for example.

Do you believe love can bloom, even on the battlefield?

EV training through the SOS system is bullshit. When I'm just trying to work my way through an area normally, Petilil calls allies endlessly, but when I'm actually trying to call Petilil through the SOS system to grind up Special Attack EVs, suddenly it feels like it can take me on by itself. I spend most of the time just repeatedly using Adrenaline Orbs, and it's booooooooooooooooooooooriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing.

If only EV training were, like, a fun little minigame that we could do at any time. Wouldn't that be so much better?

Can I just say fuck the Battle Tree? First fight, I went up against a guy who swept my team with a Metagross. And some of them even have Z-moves! And I figured that maybe with the difficulty spike, they'd give you a good number of BP, but nope! 1 per battle! And this is the only way to get most of the Mega Stones? What the fuck, Game Freak? I've given it a second chance, and I'm up to battle #9, but still, what were they thinking?

Very glad they did this, considering it's always so boring to slog through the garbage mons to get to the fun/interesting builds they put in later for you to challenge.

Sorry but I have to agree with Sir Real. If your team is not perfect and optimized as shit you do not stand a chance and I am not willing to painstakingly make the perfect team for 1 BP per match. Not if you're going to throw a Multiscale goddamn Dragonite for Match #1.

It and the Battle Royal are the only way to get BP. BP is the only way to get Mega Stones and EV-boosting items. Goddammit, Game Freak.

Oh I by no means meant to say that I consider you or Sir Real wrong in thinking this way. I'm probably in the minority myself haha. It's just that I use things like Maison and the battle tree to test my own builds and team comps for competitive, so it's nice for me personally to have the challenge present immediately. I can absolutely acknowledge the drawbacks as well.

Just learned you can only get Type: Null after you beat the main game. Guess I won't have to leave a party slot open for it now. Urgh. :psyduck:

I know that feel. I was also really disappointed when I found out that I couldn't evolve Crabrawler until the very end of the game, so I just switched over to Kommo-o.

I actually used Crabrawler up until Crabominable and am now trying to find something else that doesn't have an awful defensive typing. I just hate having to send him out because 7 times out of 10 he gets one-shotted by a Fire Blast or Brave Bird or Psychic or whatever, though I admit when he does survive that Ice Hammer feels good.

It's a real shame, because ice/fighting is quite possibly the best possible offensive typing.

Not to be that guy, but I just thought I'd mention that if you don't enjoy having to wait til' near the endgame for a Crabominable, Bewear not only has a Fighting typing, but also a fantastic ability that pretty moots out Crabominable at the cost of a terrible allergic reaction to Fire.(that Crabominable already has.)
