I just caught a female Passimian and want to add a good one to my team so I stuck her in the breeding center and now I need to figure out what breeds with it so I can make my own sportsball team

Some days ago I was trying to catch a Magby and I swear I had to punch through 15 SOS extras before being able to catch it.
I used a Timer Ball so it could think back on what it had done.
And named it "Burning Time".
I also remember a week ago when I said to my friends that I'd have a Toxapex on my team... and then I found out how I'm supposed to find one. So that dream kind of went kaput.
But Araquanid is GOOD.

Found the one thing I really fucking hate about this game: they took out Super Training. Why the flying fuck would they take out super training? It was so useful! What the fuck were these assholes thinking?

Why can't I still catch Cockfighting Society if there are 2 of them on the field?

Wait really? Wow, I just thought it was reserved until end-game. That's dumb.

Eh, even in X/Y/ORAS, hordes were a more efficient way of getting EVs. The SOS thing is really fast to chain EVs with as long as you have the right power items (they got buffed to give +8 EVs this gen per KO instead of +4). That plus having pokerus can net 36 EVs from killing on SOS pokemon. Chain 7 and you've got a maxed stat.

The only thing I miss from Super Training is the reset bag. Using the berries is time consuming at first when you've not gotten a good stockpile of them.

That's what I figured people would miss the most. Why would they get rid of the reset bag? Plus, I liked how Super Training allowed you to get your Cockfighting Society's stats maxed as soon as they hatched, rather than having to worry about what EVs they'd get through training. Also, I dunno about you, but I actually really enjoyed Super Training. It could get pretty frustrating occasionally, but I found it was a lot more fun than normal EV training. As much as I like Moon, there were a lot of mistakes made, and this is probably the worst. I can't imagine what was going through their heads. But hey, at least they kept Cockfighting Society Amie…and took out its awesome minigames too. Yaaaay…

Yea, I do miss the Amie minigames. Overall though, I like this game more than I liked OR (which I liked a lot). I didn't play X/Y, so I can't compare it to those.

For now, the removal of Super Training has really soured my perception of these games. However, I do think they're much better than X&Y. They're also probably better than ORAS, though I really like how easy those games made breeding and training. Also, ORAS felt a lot larger than this game, you know? For now, I'll still be doing most of my breeding and training in AS. It also pisses me off that they took out move tutors. Why are we not putting move tutors in every game by now? And why is there still no battle frontier?

I'm tempted to use an Araquanid, since its ability sounds OP AF. Its stats look pretty awful and its movepool looks mediocre at best, but I'll have to train one and see.

Oh hey, you too? I'm in the middle of that right now too. 2 Magmars and the third Magby as of now. Same turn I defeat one he calls another.

We need a patch for this. Make it so they can only call 1 per fight or something.

I was thinking maybe max two or three SOS calls without Adrenaline Orb, or maybe just the original Cockfighting Society could call. That would balance it out a bit, I'd say.

Uh, guys. Just give them status affliction, that prevents them from calling out ally's.
