Rowlet's looks like a member of a Host Club.

Man I love Popplio but Brionne I am not a fan of. However based on the descriptions of the middle evolutions on the official website they might get split evolutions like Rockruff did. Hopefully they aren't bound to which game you get like Rockruff because the descriptions on the site seem to be based on how you treat them in that new Pokemon Amie game.

Also the Poke Pelago sounds awesome, I love the idea of putting Pokemon in boxes to some use.

So I'm guessing Z-Crystals are some kind of natural evolution to Keystones, or did they just sort of give up on giving Mega Evolutions any real lore?

I like Alolan Formes, but it feels disappointing that after just two games, there's bodaciously 0 signs of new Mega Evolutions.

Also, Ash-Greninja being in a main series game definitely blurs a weird line between the anime and the official games, which usually have fuck-all to do with each other, how odd.

And the last thing, Popplio's Evolution is so freaking charming, it loves to dance and is always cheery and positive, even when sad. I want to hug it.

I personally don't like Rowlet 2.0's color scheme. Secondly the Litten evo seems even more fighting-type the more I think about it, which makes me uncomfortable in the sort of way that I don't want a muscle cat as my starter. Is that too specific? ... yeah probably.
If there was going to be a Sun/Moon/Day/Night/etc evolution split I was kind of expecting it to be in the second forms of the evolutions. Hm. I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Didn't X and Y not reveal starter evolutions until launch day? Gosh I hope we don't have to wait that long again...

Brionne is a precious cinnamon roll but I'm still devoted to Team Rowlet.

Apparently this time around the Cockfighting Society World Championships are banning Mega Stones. I don't follow competitive very much at all, but I find this to be a weird development. Megas were kind of the big new thing last gen. Perhaps... perhaps the new rules are trying to encourage more teambuild diversity?
Also QR RENTAL TEAMS. I just found about this now. The way I see it it's basically teams you put into a little QR code on the Global Link and others can scan 'em to battle with 'em in certain modes. This I like, because it means I can--theoretically--play semi-competitively and not have to spend time scraping for perfect IVs and whatnot.

Lastly I've become very fond of Lycanroc-Moon lately. I just think it's very well-designed, but that's just my personal opinion.

I beat the fourth gym in Pokemon White and man this game feels longer than any other Pokemon game. It's just crammed full of that plot stuff.

Japanese site posted the file size of the games. ~3.2 GIGS for each game. If you were looking to download these games you may want to invest in a larger SD card.

The previously leaked starter final evos were true, of course. Sadly, they do not have alternate forms, but hey, I still get my bowman eagle.
