Nekkoala is a Normal type that is called the "Half Awake" Pokemon. Its ability, "Deep Sleep", makes it immune to all status afflictions save for sleep.

Iwanko is the Pokemon that we saw in the previous Corocoro trailer. It is the Rock type "Puppy" Pokemon, that will either have Keen eye or Vital Spirit. It's implied that Iwanko will have a special means of evolving.

Freaking loving Iwanko, such a cute lil' dog. I wonder what species it's based off of.

If Nekkoala doesn't learn Rest, Snore, and/or Sleep Talk, I will be very disappointed.

So wait, could you give Nekkoala a Toxic Orb and not have it be poisoned but still get the stat boosts?

It'd need Quick Feet or Guts to get Stat Boosts from Toxic Orb, so no you wouldn't. All a toxic orb would do is power up Facade

Wouldn't even do that; since its ability would prevent it from getting poisoned, Facade wouldn't get a boost.

On a different note, I like how it looks like they're going more in-depth with the culture of the region in the new games.
